In using the GAME plan with my students I hope to mirror my own game plan. Goal: Take my time and pick some NET-S standards to focus on with my students. Action: Most of these standards will eventually be a dressed throughout my projects and assignments that utilize technology and can be Monitored during class time and by checking Blogs or Wikis being used. Evaluate: Discuss and reflect on these standards and see if my students reached them proficiently.
Student like the use of technology in the classroom and will readily adapt to these standards quite quickly.

Hi Eric,
ReplyDeleteAddressing the NET-S (NETS-S, 2007) standards by using projects with technology will definitely add to your GAME plan as long as you continue to “discuss and reflect”. I think we have all come to the conclusion that each of our GAME plans include continous "planning, monitoring, and the evaluating of learning activities" (Cennamo, Ross, & Ertmer, 2009) to be successful. We just have to make sure we are guiding students to learn content, meet goals and toward the use of 21st century technology in the classroom as we progress.
Your post this week is great and to the point!

I agree that by using projects that include technology we will be able to reach each of the NTSE standards. Sounds like you are well on your way to reaching your GAME plan. Good luck.
